Harvest 8/31
Thanks everyone for coming out and having a good time.
This was my first harvest day without Grace; it was a lot of fun and a lot of people! I had the joy of seeing new faces, as well as familiar:
Corinne, our garden advisor, stopped by with Michael
Izzy, a Gordon alum stopped by.
GCSA President Josh Grambow visited, and our green beans are now basically GCSA-certified quality.
Right when we were about to close up, Ethan (RD of Tavilla) stopped by to get some sunflowers. He had to be rather inventive about how he was going to reach the tall flowers.

What are Harvest Days? Harvest days are when community members can come and collect produce from the garden. This summer, Grace decided that the produce would be given out for free. Our focus this summer at Newroz has been to increase visibility and community engagement. So far, so good! If your photo was taken and you choose to share it on social media, please give us a shout out at @asfgarden!
