Harvest 9/6
There was a great deal of activity at the garden today! Even though the weather was cloudy, many community members showed up with their tote bags, backpacks, and scissors.
Quick shout out to my dad for helping me manage the busy influx of visitors!
What are Harvest Days? Harvest days are when community members can come and collect produce from the garden. This summer, Grace decided that the produce would be given out for free. Our focus this summer at Newroz has been to increase visibility and community engagement. So far, so good!
