Progress Post #1
a glimpse into the garden after a little over two months...
The garden is flourishing under the abundant sun exposure and rain showers. Seeds have grown into sprouts, sprouts have matured into seedlings, and now the garden beds are full of blooming plants. The past work days have involved the usual watering and weeding, as well as placing trellises for the tomatoes and support stakes for the peppers. Dr. Story also installed two bumble bee stations in the garden, which aids in pollination. Another great addition to the garden is the bench and table set; we hope that this encourages Newroz as a space that can be utilized to socialize and rest. Take a look through the following photos; if you like what you see, make sure to come visit and see for yourself!
